The Pandemic Accelerates Digital Transformation

After the Adistec Kick Off meeting in January 2020 organized in Miami, we had great expectations for the year and a series of clear objectives. Objectives and strategies to implement in each country, without thinking that in less than a month, everything was going to take a radical turn.

Despite the uncertainty generated by the pandemic, the objectives remained the same: continue to lead the Peruvian market in technology solutions and continue to be the main wholesaler of these solutions. These objectives were met thanks to the support of our business partners, manufacturers and, a solid team of people who are committed to the company.

The pandemic managed to accelerate the digital transformation from small businesses to department stores, allowing ecommerce to grow by more than 70% this growth caused logistics to be one of the main problems, due to restrictions and processes not established by the same logistics operators.

In 2021 we have new challenges as a distributor, the main one is to strengthen the business of our partners through six business units: Distribution, Education, Adistec Professional Services (APS), Adistec Enterprise Cloud (AEC), Adistec Service Providers Programs (ASPP) and Adistec Integrated Solutions (AIS).


Adistec Distribution

Adistec helps identify critical opportunities and addresses them through the appropriate channels, by adopting the latest and best available technologies in a timely manner. We have specialized commercial resources by product line, certified engineers available to support the channels in project sizing and pre-sales support, our marketing team accompanies and supports the channel throughout the commercial cycle with demand generation activities, training, incentives and accelerators in order to close sales.

To date we have more than 24 business lines in our portfolio: Avid, Cisco, Forcepoint, Fortinet, Imperva, Kaspersky, Lenovo, Mellanox, Netscout, Nutanix, Pure, Quantum, Quest, Riverbed, Rubrik, Solarwinds, Telerik, Tenable , Thales, Veeam, VMware, Zimbra, based on Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Data Center.


Adistec Education

The Adistec Education unit aims to provide training to our business partners and end users to improve their knowledge and training in the use of the technologies we offer through distribution, we have our own laboratories and extended hours for practices; dedicated data centers with a capacity of up to 100 students per week; interactive and virtual platform for the delivery of courses, and we are currently the official training center for the AWS (Amanzon Web Services) Forcepoint, Fortinet, Kaspersky, Nutanix, VMware and Veeam lines.


Adistec Professional Services (APS)

APS is the Adistec business unit that provides all its knowledge and know-how to the channels to facilitate the implementation and installation of IT solutions, our service catalog includes:

  • Turnkey services in data centers and security projects.
  • Implementation of solutions in the cloud.
  • Commercial and technical advice to manage your business in the cloud.
  • Outsourcing of business processes in the cloud.


Adistec Enteprise Cloud (AEC)

AEC is the business unit in charge of delivering services in Cloud mode, offering monthly payment solutions. It does not require updates of programs or infrastructure by the client, this responsibility falls entirely on our platform, we have four data centers in Peru, Argentina, Brazil and Miami.


Adistec Service Providers Programs (SPP)

The SPP unit offers specific programs for service providers based on the monthly subscription model: Zimbra, Quest, Thales, Kaspersky, Zerto, VMware, Veeam.
